Biography

In 2017, Mr. Scroggins graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Economics. Thereafter, he attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 2020. While at Nova Southeastern University, he was a member of the National Health Law Transaction Competition team and served as a research assistant for Professor Michael Flynn.

Mr. Scroggins joined the firm in the Spring of 2024 and focuses on medical malpractice and general liability defense litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he gained invaluable experience at an insurance defense firm handling medical malpractice cases involving various health care providers.

  • Loughren v. Physician, et al., Palm Beach County – Obtained defense verdict for emergency room physician and hospital in medical malpractice action alleging negligence in failing to diagnose a subdural hematoma.

In his personal time, Mr. Scroggins enjoys cheering on his Florida State Seminoles and spending time with his family and friends.
