Biography

Reed W. Kellner graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1978 with Honors and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Buffalo School of Law in 1981.  Concentrating in medical malpractice defense, Mr. Kellner has lectured for various hospitals, physicians and insurance groups.   He was a member and past President of the Florida Medical Malpractice Claims Counsel, Inc.  He is also a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.  He was selected to be a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (President 2018-2019).

Mr. Kellner is active in civic affairs, having served as a member of the Guardian Ad Litem Program for the Palm Beach County Bar Association and as an Advisory Board member of Sunfest of Palm Beach County.  He has served on the Board of Trustees of Palms West Hospital, the Board of Rebekah’s House, and the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Wellington (President – 2007).

Mr. Kellner received his Martindale-Hubbell AV Rating in 2006.  The “AV” designation represents the highest rating for legal ability and adherence to ethical standards, professional reliability, and diligence.

Mr. Kellner joined Adams | Coogler in 1983, becoming a shareholder in 1989.

When taking a break from the practice of law, Mr. Kellner enjoys playing tennis, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his family.
