Biography
Elen Krut focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation, representing insurers, businesses, healthcare providers, and individual clients in a wide range of complex civil matters. Admitted to practice in Florida and New York, Ms. Krut brings substantial litigation experience developed through years of representing clients and navigating all phases of the litigation process.
Ms. Krut’s practice encompasses the defense of general liability, premises liability, slip and fall, negligent security, automobile liability, trucking and transportation claims, catastrophic injury matters, and medical malpractice and healthcare negligence cases. She has extensive experience handling complex claims involving significant damages exposure, coordinating investigations, analyzing liability and causation issues, conducting depositions, preparing and arguing motions, managing discovery, and developing litigation strategies tailored to each client’s objectives.
Prior to focusing her practice in Florida, Ms. Krut gained valuable experience litigating a broad range of civil matters in New York. Her diverse litigation background in Family, Criminal, and Medical Malpractice areas of law provide her with a comprehensive understanding of case evaluation, risk assessment, and dispute resolution, allowing her to effectively advocate for clients from the inception through resolution of a case.
Known for her meticulous preparation and practical approach to litigation, Ms. Krut is committed to protecting her clients’ interests while pursuing favorable resolutions through strategic motion practice, negotiation, mediation, and courtroom advocacy. Her ability to analyze complex factual and legal issues enables her to provide thoughtful counsel and effective representation in high stakes matters. Ms. Krut believes that no two cases are alike.
