Richard Solomon is a native Floridian who graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Leo University in 1983. He then graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law in 1986, after which he was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Coif.
For more than 30 years, Mr. Solomon has spent his entire career defending building material manufacturers and suppliers and other manufacturers in a wide variety of construction, commercial, product liability, breach of contract, personal injury and wrongful death claims. He also is one of the principal architects of Florida’s economic loss rule defense, which has helped his construction, commercial and manufacturing clients avoid millions of dollars of unwarranted tort and extra-contractual liability.
Mr. Solomon’s hard work has resulted in him receiving the highest possible AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell, the oldest and most prestigious attorney rating service in the country. He also has been selected for inclusion in Florida’s Super Lawyers. He also has spent considerable time serving the Florida Bar and citizens of Florida as the past chair of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee, which handles bar grievances filed against attorneys in Central Florida.

He is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, as well as the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Solomon joined Adams Coogler in 2022, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of catastrophic trucking accident and construction defense.
