Riley F. Kennedy attended the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. The University of Florida conferred a Juris Doctorate upon him in 2016. He graduated Cum Laude and was honored with the Pro Bono Certificate of Outstanding Achievement for his contribution of time and services to better the community.
While pursuing his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Kennedy was invited to become a member of the Florida Moot Court Team where he competed in multiple national appellate advocacy competitions. He also served as a Legal Writing/Appellate Advocacy teaching assistant. While in law school, he completed a judicial internship with the 15th Judicial Circuit Court of Palm Beach County. He then worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Gary R. Jones of the U.S. District Court for the North District of Florida. Working closely with the judiciary and being exposed to the inner workings of the state and federal court systems have proven to be invaluable experiences for Mr. Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy first joined Adams | Coogler, P.A. in the summer of 2015. During this time, he gained extensive legal experience by working with seasoned attorneys on a variety of legal issues. He returned to Adams | Coogler, P.A. after completion of the Florida Bar Examination in 2016. Shortly thereafter, he was admitted to the Florida Bar. He concentrates his practice in the areas of premises liability, medical malpractice defense, personal injury, general liability defense, and appellate matters related to these areas.
